Take a deep breath and relax, or at least try to. Your goal is simple: beat the 3 levels to “win.” If you can do that, you can finally calm down and not think about anything else. May your journey to inner peace be simple and uncomplicated.

Break Out is a brick breaker arcade-style game that simulates the feeling of anxiety and its ever-growing presence. Despite beating one level, another with even more difficult conditions hinders your ability to win. Even after finishing all 3, the game is truly never done. By painting anxiety in this way, I hope to bring attention to how anxiety affects people by making tasks feel impossible or like the end will never come.

There is audio, so sound on.

Use WASD to move the paddle up, left, down, and right. Space will start the game, and q is used to *quit.
